Developed at the request of admissions officers from U.S. and Canadian advanced placement programs for international dental graduates, the ADEA Centralized Application for Advanced Placement for International Dentists--ADEA CAAPID—provides a convenient way for qualified candidates to locate and apply to dental programs. The application period extends from April 15, 2010, through February 2011. Currently 40 U.S and Canadian dental schools offer these programs. Similar to ADEA AADSAS and ADEA PASS, the ADEA CAAPID application allows international dental graduates to submit a single application and set of credentials that will be distributed by ADEA to all participating programs designated by the applicant. Programs will receive all application materials online through the CAAPID admissions officers’ portal. Programs may request supplemental materials from applicants.
The fee for the basic ADEA CAAPID application, including one program designation, is $227, and the fee for each additional program designation is $72. Application fees are paid by credit card at the time of submission through the ADEA CAAPID applicant portal.
Review the ADEA CAAPID Directory to see the programs that accept ADEA CAAPID applications for the 2010-2011 application cycle.
