FAQs - Applying to ADEA CAAPID

Q: I applied last year, how do I reapply?
A: Application materials from prior applications do not carry over from previous application cycles once that application cycle has closed. Applications created before the start of the current application cycle are no longer active. You must begin a brand new application and resubmit all application materials, including all dental school transcripts and Letters of Evaluations.


 Q: I forgot my username and password. How can I obtain them again?
A: To obtain your password, go to the ADEA CAAPID application, select the "Forgot Your Password?" link and enter the email address that was used to create your ADEA CAAPID application. You will be asked to answer your security question; then an email will be sent containing your password to your ADEA CAAPID application.


Q: What makes an ADEA CAAPID application complete?
A: In addition to submitting your electronic application, the following required/optional paper documents must be submitted to ADEA CAAPID:

  • Processing fee (ONLY when paying by money order)
  • Original Evaluated Dental School Transcript from ECE or WES Evaluation Service


 Your application is processed immediately after receipt of these documents. Be sure to check the requirements of the programs you select-some have very specific requirements about which transcript evaluation service you should use.
