The ADEA Centralized Application for Advanced Placement for International Dentists (ADEA CAAPID) is available to all individuals applying to the participating programs.
ADEA CAAPID simplifies the application process by allowing you to submit one standardized application, rather than individual applications to each program. Advanced placement programs benefit by receiving uniform information on all applicants.
View participating programs and corresponding deadlines.
Plan Ahead:
- Identify desired programs
- Register for DENTPIN
- Prepare application fee: credit card or money order accepted
- Ask up to three evaluators to write letters of evaluation: paper or electronic submission
- Complete dental school transcript evaluation: course-by-course evaluation by WES or ECE
o Review programs to determine if the school also wants an original copy of the transcript
- Update Resume or CV and personal statement
- View additional requirements by school
Application Process:
- Begin an application on ADEA CAAPID
- Send in required documents to ADEA CAAPID (no additional documents will be accepted)
- Pay fee and submit application by deadline
o Submission to schools may take 1-2 weeks
- Follow up with individual schools to submit additional requirements
