Information for Admissions Officers, Financial Aid Officers and Student Affairs Officers

The group that has come to be known as "ADEA AFASA" is composed of the dental school admissions officers, student affairs officers and financial aid officers. It is formally composed of two ADEA sections (the ADEA Section on Dental School Admissions Officers and the ADEA Section on Student Affairs and Financial Aid).

Because these individuals' roles coincide at dental schools, these groups meet jointly during the annual ADEA Fall Meetings and during the ADEA Annual Session, and members communicate with each other during the year using a listserv list.

ADEA AFASA exists as a forum for the exchange of ideas, the fostering of collegiality and the creation of fair and equal practices across dental education. ADEA AFASA also educates its members on best practices for handling current and forthcoming issues relevant to student recruitment, admissions, student affairs and financial aid for dental students.
