Recent Accomplishments
The ADEA CCI Summer 2010 Meetings were held this June in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Forty-six dental schools sent more than 115 ADEA CCI Liaisons to explore strategies for moving forward. The conference presentations are available on our website at www.ADEACCI.org/resources.
Looking Ahead
Schools interested in expanding their diversity and community-based education programs will have a rich new resource available this fall. The Dental Pipeline National Program Office will release a monograph intended for use as a “how to” guide in the Journal of Dental Education. Papers by dental school leaders will focus on the operational elements of the Dental Pipeline program. The section of the monograph devoted to community-based dental education will discuss program management; financial impact; and student, school, and community impact. It will also share the results of interviews with offsite clinic directors.
