ADEA's Mission
The American Dental Education Association (ADEA) is widely recognized as the premier association serving and representing the dental education community. ADEA serves its individual and institutional members by providing leadership that includes advocacy on U.S. public policy issues; developing and disseminating best practices and educational policy and position statements, especially those encouraging inclusiveness, equity, and diversity in the dental education community; and offering a wealth of research, expert information, and resources. ADEA also convenes professional development and networking opportunities such as conferences and other member forums. Through these services, ADEA is the thought leader in dental education.
Our dedicated and knowledgeable staff provides timely, authoritative information that helps ADEA members stay informed on critical issues facing students, faculty, and administrators in allied, predoctoral, and postdoctoral dental education programs, particularly as they relate to ADEA’s Strategic Directions. To the public, ADEA is the voice of dental education, addressing contemporary issues influencing education, research, and the delivery of oral health care for the improvement of public health.
