About the ADEA Office of the Executive Director
The Executive Director serves with the Association’s President as a principal spokesperson for the organization. The Executive Director’s primary responsibilities are establishing productive relationships with other health and education professions associations, expanding the opportunities for collaboration, and forming strategic alliances within the Washington, DC area, nationally, and internationally.
As the chief staff officer for ADEA, the Executive Director employs and supervises all staff; coordinates all activities and meetings of committees, councils, and boards; supervises all publications; and is responsible for the fiscal affairs of the Association. The Executive Director promotes and encourages the leadership and development of Association staff, volunteer leaders, and members.
The ADEA Office of the Executive Director is responsible for all activities of the Association, serving as the liaison to the ADEA House of Delegates, the ADEA Board of Directors and its Finance Committee, and all development and corporate relations.
