ADEA/Crest Oral-B Scholarships Awarded to Dental Hygiene Students

WASHINGTON, DC—The Procter & Gamble Company was the sponsor of the ADEA/Crest Oral-B Scholarship for Dental Hygiene Students Pursuing Academic Careers Scholarships presented at the 2010 ADEA Annual Session & Exhibition in Washington, DC.

Each year two dental hygiene students receive the ADEA/Crest Oral-B Scholarships. Lisa M. Johnson from Idaho State University and Kylie J. Siruta from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry were the recipients of this year’s scholarships. The scholarships support dental hygiene students who are pursuing education beyond an associate degree and who have an interest in an academic career.

“Crest Oral-B is pleased to sponsor this award through ADEA that provides assistance to future dental hygiene educators. We would like to commend Ms. Johnson and Ms. Siruta on their achievements and wish them the best of luck in their studies,” said Mr. Desi Nuckolls, Manager of Professional and Academic Relations for The Procter & Gamble Company.

ADEA is committed to the development of faculty for the continued improvement of dental education. We are proud to partner with The Procter & Gamble Company in supporting those who are pursuing academic careers,” said ADEA President Ronald J. Hunt, D.D.S.
