Predoctoral and Postdoctoral Dental Educators

ADEA/Colgate-Palmolive Co. Excellence in Teaching Award
This $2,500 award is designed to enhance the teaching efforts of an educator who demonstrates exemplary standards and promotes excellence through scholarship and innovation.


ADEA Enid A. Neidle Scholar-in-Residence Program
A stipend of up to $15,000 will be awarded to provide the opportunity for a dental educator to pursue a cumulative two to three-month fellowship at the ADEA office in Washington, DC, researching issues affecting women faculty.


Dental Educators and Allied Dental Educators

ADEAGies Foundation Scholarships for the M.A. in Health Professions Education
Three $5,000 partial tuition scholarships to enable faculty in dental and allied dental education to obtain a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Health Professions Education from AAL and the University of the Pacific. The scholarships are available to new students in the program as well as to those who have completed the Certificate in Health Professions Education (the first six academic credits of the M.A. program). Please note that the application deadline for these scholarships is August 31. 

ADEA/Colgate-Palmolive Co. Allied Dental Educators Fellowship
During odd years, two allied dental faculty will be awarded fellowships of $2,000 for tuition, travel and fees associated with the ADEA Allied Dental Faculty Leadership Development Program. During even years, one allied dental educator will be awarded a stipend of $4,000 to pursue a cumulative three-month fellowship at the ADEA office in Washington, D.C., focusing on issues affecting allied dental education.

 
ADEA/ADEA Council of Students, Residents, and Fellows/Colgate-Palmolive Co. Junior Faculty Award
This $2,500 award is designed to be used to enhance teaching, research or service efforts.


ADEA/Sunstar Americas, Inc./Harry W. Bruce, Jr. Legislative Fellowship Award
A stipend of up to $15,000 will be awarded to provide the opportunity for a dental educator to pursue a cumulative two to three-month fellowship at the ADEA office in Washington, DC, working on issues related to the legislative agenda.


ADEA/ADEAGies Foundation Education Fellowship
A stipend of up to $15,000 will be awarded in 2016 for a dental educator to pursue a cumulative two to three-month fellowship at the ADEA office in Washington, DC, researching educational issues facing dental education.


ADEA/AAL Faculty of Color Tuition Scholarships for Professional Development: ADEA/AAL Chairs and Academic Administrators Management Program
Four $1,995 tuition scholarships will be awarded in 2016 to enable faculty of color to participate in the ADEA/AAL Chairs and Academic Administrators Management Program.


ADEA/AAL Faculty of Color Tuition Scholarships for Professional Development: ADEA/AAL Compass Program for Academic Advancement
Eight $300 tuition scholarships will be awarded in 2016 to support the participation of dental educators, including allied dental educators, in the ADEA/AAL Compass Program.


ADEA/AAL Faculty of Color Tuition Scholarships for Professional Development: ADEA Summer Program for Emerging Academic Leaders
Two $1,695 tuition scholarships will be awarded in 2016 to enable junior faculty (up to three years of experience) of color to participate in the ADEA Summer Program for Emerging Academic Leaders.


ADEA/AAL Faculty of Color Tuition Scholarships for Professional Development: ADEA/AAL Institute for Teaching and Learning (ITL)
Four recipients will each be awarded a $4,950 tuition scholarship in 2016 to enable them to participate in the ADEA/AAL Institute for Teaching and Learning.
