2018 ADEA Student Diversity Leadership Program
The 2018 ADEA Student Diversity Leadership Program will be a two-day collection of events at the
2018 ADEA Annual Session & Exhibition in Orlando, FL. The
program is for emerging student leaders from diverse backgrounds who have an
interest in issues related to diverse communities.
Dental students are
nominated by their dental school deans. There are typically two nominees per
school and each school is asked to support their nominees’ travel, lodging and
ADEA Annual Session registration. The target audience for the ADEA Student
Diversity Leadership Program is dental students representing or participating
in the Student National Dental Association, Hispanic Student Dental Association
and Society of American Indian Dentists, and students who have demonstrated an
active commitment to diversity and inclusion within their dental schools or
wider campus communities. Students who have never
participated in the ADEA SDLP program previously are preferred, although we
leave the final nomination decision to your discretion.
