ADEA recognizes achievement and distinction among its members through an awards program. Among the awards offered in conjunction with ADEA's corporate partners are student scholarships, awards for educators, and funding opportunities for various fellowships.
Each year in the fall ADEA opens award nominations. Self-nominations from individual members are accepted for many. Awards range from $1,000 scholarships to $15,000 stipends to pursue three-month fellowships in Washington, D.C. and $25,000 in support of leadership development.
ADEA Member Institutions are also eligible for significant monetary recognition for research and work with new procedures.
Also, through the ADEAGies Foundation ADEA provides financial support for dental education, research, and leadership. The Foundation confers the annual Gies Awards, bringing recognition to outstanding individuals and institutional leaders in global oral health and oral health education.
ADEA is pleased to offer several new awards for 2014 in support of leadership development, academic advancement, and student research. See the links below for more information.
Please note that applications for awards will not be accepted once a deadline has passed.
