This report describes dental education costs and the resulting student debt in the broader context of the rising cost of higher education. The report examines the impact of student borrowing on career choice and improving access to oral health care. It provides recommendations for ADEA leadership, its members, and other dental education stakeholders on how to improve the financial position of dental schools and allied and advanced dental education programs.
