James Betbeze has over 20 years of experience working in graduate and professional school admissions. He began his career at the University of California, Berkeley in 1994 and moved to the University of California, San Francisco in 2000. Mr. Betbeze is actively involved with ADEA. He has been an ADEA Admissions Committee Workshop Facilitator since 2009 and served as Chair of the ADEA AADSAS® Task Force from 2010–2012 and as Chair of the ADEA Section on Student Affairs from 2012–2013. Mr. Betbeze holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from San Francisco State University.

B. Lamont Lowery has been with East Carolina University for over 17 years, including six years at the School of Dental Medicine. Mr. Lowery’s responsibilities include recruitment, admissions, precycle and postcycle advising, which are centered around the school’s mission to educate men and women to meet the oral health needs of underserved populations in North Carolina.
Annette McMurry, J.D.

The Ohio State University College of Dentistry
Annette McMurry is the Director of Admissions at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. In this role, she provides leadership in the development, implementation and assessment of an array of recruitment initiatives designed to yield more diverse, high-quality and driven students for the D.D.S. and dental hygiene programs. Ms. McMurry joined The Ohio State University in 2012. Prior to that, she served as the Associate Director of Admissions at Capital University Law School. Ms. McMurry received her J.D. from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago and her B.S. degree in Communications from Ohio University in Athens, OH.
