Assistant Professor in Dental Public Health,
Department of Community Dentistry and Behavioral Science

University of Florida College of Dentistry

The University of Florida College of Dentistry, Department of Community Dentistry and Behavioral Science, is seeking applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty position or multi-mission track clinical position in Dental Public Health at the rank of Assistant Professor.  Selected candidates will be expected to develop a funded research program in dental public health and/or health services research and mentor DMD and graduate trainees. Position responsibilities include: conducting funded research; participating in the College’s teaching activities, mentoring and service activities.  Candidates must possess a DDS/DMD degree or equivalent degree.   Preference will be given to candidates with Masters or PhD degrees in public health, health services research, or health policy and a demonstrated record of teaching experience, funded research, and productivity in other scholarly activities.  Board certification in Dental Public Health is highly desirable.  Affiliate appointment in the UF College of Public Health and Health Professions is possible.
