Assistant or Associate Professor, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon

Oregon Health & Science University is seeking a full-time 1.0 FTE Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.  Responsibilities include clinical and didactic instruction at the advanced education and pre-doctoral levels, patient care in all core OMS areas with an additional emphasis in head and neck oncologic and reconstructive surgery, and participation in scholarly activity. *Please apply online at ohsujobs.com, then search using IRC55122.

Required:

  • Must have completed a CODA accredited advanced education program in oral and maxillofacial surgery and/or must be ABOMS certified, or in the process of seeking certification
  • Must be able to obtain a dental license and general anesthesia permit in the state of Oregon
  • Ability to obtain hospital privileges
  • Experience in teaching, research, service, patient care, and academic management

Preferred:

  • A post-residency fellowship in head and neck oncologic surgery and reconstruction is strongly desired
