The University of Iowa College of Dentistry is searching
for a full-time clinical or tenure-track faculty position in the Department of Periodontics. Available June 1, 2018.
Must have: D.D.S./D.M.D. or equivalent; by time of
appointment, completion of ADA-accredited advanced education program in Periodontics;
clinical/didactic experience in all aspects of Periodontology/Oral implantology;
and eligibility to obtain State of Iowa sedation permit.
Tenure-track applicants must also have: research training/experience; and demonstrated
scholarly/professional growth commensurate w/time following completion of advanced
education. Desirable qualifications include: Board certification/eligibility in Periodontics;
record of effective teaching; record of significant service and leadership achievement
in the specialty of Periodontics; achievement in basic and/or clinical research
relevant to Periodontology and/or Oral Implantology; and experience in implant provisionalization.
