University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry invites applications for a
full-time tenure track position in Radiology at the Assistant or Associate
Professor level. Teaching responsibilities include classroom and clinical
instruction of dental, dental hygiene, and graduate students as well as
presentation of continuing education programs. Experience as a course director,
with innovative teaching methods, and use of contemporary technology in
practice are highly desired.
The candidate will be expected to develop research projects and participate in
the intramural Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology practice. Requirements include
a DDS or DMD from a dental school recognized by the ADA Commission on Dental
Accreditation and completion of a formal advanced education program in Oral and
Maxillofacial Radiology. The candidate must be board certified in Oral and
Maxillofacial Radiology and must possess or be eligible for a license to
practice dentistry in the state of Michigan. The position becomes available immediately.
