Assistant/Associate Professor, Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology

New York University College of Dentistry

NYU College of Dentistry is seeking applications for a full time position at the level of Clinical Assistant or Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology, Radiology and Medicine.  Candidates should possess a DDS/DMD degree, have completed a CODA approved post graduate program in oral and maxillofacial radiology, and be a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology.  Candidates must also be eligible for a New York State dental license. 


Candidates are expected to demonstrate evidence of scholarly activity. Candidates at the Clinical Associate Professor level will be expected to have a record of research accomplishments. In addition to scholarship, responsibilities include teaching radiology in the predoctoral and postgraduate programs. 


NYUCD offers the opportunity to participate in the Cone Beam CT imaging service.  NYUCD offers opportunities to participate in a multidisciplinary research center as well as rapidly expanding basic sciences research programs in oral cancer, biomaterials/tissue engineering and oral infectious diseases.
