Director, General Practice Residency

The University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston seeks applicants for the Director of the General Practice Residency program. This opportunity is a full-time tenure track or clinical educator (non-tenure) track position in the Department of General Practice and Dental Public Health at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.


Applicants must have a dental degree (DDS/DMD) recognized by the Commission on Dental Education of the American Dental Association, and a current license or eligibility for licensure to practice dentistry in the State of Texas. Completion of an accredited General Practice Residency program is required. Responsibilities include program administration, curriculum oversight, teaching and supervision of postgraduate residents, research and service. The position is available April 1, 2014. Academic rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications and experience.
