The University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston seeks applicants
for a full-time tenure or clinical educator track position in the Department of
General Practice and Dental Public Health at the Assistant Professor, Associate
Professor or Professor level. Applicants must have a DDS/DMD degree and dental
public health degree, MPH, DrPH or PhD, or with prior teaching and/or private
practice experience, and be eligible for dental licensure or faculty dental
licensure in the state of Texas.
Responsibilities include clinical and didactic teaching, research and
service. Some clinical teaching is done with mobile units or on a dental van
out of town and may include periodic overnight stays. The position is available
August 1, 2014. Academic rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications
