How do I register for the conference?
Please refer to the conference registration link on the ADEA website.
The deadline for all conference registrations is Monday, May 19, 2014. After this date, registrations will be taken on site only.
How do I make a hotel reservation?
Please refer to the hotel link on the ADEA website.
What if I want to arrive early or stay after the conference?
The conference rate is available three days before and after the meeting based upon hotel room availability. You (and your guest) will pay for your own meals if you arrive early or stay late.
Which is the closest airport to the conference site?
The Philadelphia International Airport (PHI) is conveniently located just 15 miles from the Hyatt Regency at Penn’s Landing and is the recommended airport for the conference.
How do I get to and from the airport?
Discount shuttle service is available through Lady Liberty Shuttle Service. The shuttle is available at the airport every 20 minutes from 5:30 a.m. – midnight, seven days a week. Call (215) 724-8888 for more information. Proceed to a phone in baggage claim area and dial 27. Pickup is at Ground Transportation. Please note that the van makes multiple stops. The cost is $10 per passenger, each way.
A cab ride from Philadelphia International Airport (PHI) costs approximately $28.50 one way.
If I drive, how do I get there, and where do I park?
Self-parking at the hotel is: $25.00 per day (with in-and-out privileges). Daily parking is available for $16.00 up to six hours per day. The hotel also offers valet parking.
What is the dress code for the meeting?
Attire for the meeting is business casual. At this time of year, it is likely air conditioning will be on in the meeting rooms and public places. We advise bringing a sweater or light jacket.
What amenities are offered at the hotel?
There are many amenities offered through the hotel or near the property.
If I have a child under the age of 18 with me, what must I know?
In order to provide an appropriate professional setting, children are not admitted to ADEA workshops and meetings. We request that you arrange for the supervision of children that accompany workshop participants. Individuals under the age of 21 are not permitted at events where alcohol is served.
What If I have to cancel my conference registration?
To receive a refund for your conference registration, you must submit a written cancellation no later than May 19, 2014, to Ms. Monique Morgan at MorganM@adea.org. ADEA issues refunds—minus an individual $75 processing fee—after the meeting’s conclusion. A cancellation received after May 19, 2014, is not eligible for refund or credit. Refunds or credits will not be given for failure to attend, late arrival, unattended events or early departure.
