Dear Annual Session Attendees,

In my role as the ADEA Chief Policy Officer and Managing Vice President, I’ve attended numerous conferences around the country. From that experience, I can vouch for the caliber of presentations by my colleagues. We work hard throughout the year to plan ADEA Annual Session & Exhibition sessions that are not only relevant to you, but also engaging and enjoyable.

This month’s ADEA Policy Center Newsletter contains brief highlights about sessions from each ADEA Policy Center portfolio.

I look forward to seeing you at the 2014 ADEA Annual Session & Exhibition in San Antonio, TX, March 15–18.

Sincerely,
Eugene Anderson

Monday, March 17: 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This year at the Exhibit Hall during the 2014 ADEA Annual Session & Exhibition, ADEA Policy Center staff will prominently showcase their materials on key programs, projects and reports that they work hard to gather and develop throughout the year for the benefit of members.

Key ADEA staff will be on hand at the showcase to provide information on the International Women’s Leadership Conference, Interprofessional Education Faculty Workshops, Holistic Review Admissions Workshops, the ADEA Washington Update, the ADEA Legislative Map, ADEA data reports and dashboards.

This year the ADEA Policy Center will continue to feature MedEdPORTAL demonstrations from key leaders in dental education. Dental educators have submitted materials to MedEdPORTAL that have been peer reviewed and several will be present to discuss their work. In addition, for those interested in future submissions, Dr. Janet Guthmiller, Associate Editor of MedEdPORTAL Publications, will be on hand to provide information and guidance about submitting teaching materials to MedEdPORTAL.
