Members of the ADEA Institutional Capacity Building (ICB) team are now making a nationwide push to enroll dental hygiene schools in ADEA's new Dental Hygiene Centralized Application Services (DHCAS). The centralized services, which will be available in June, provide a uniform application to numerous dental hygiene schools, and all applications are verified and gathered by an external vendor. The centrality of the application services save schools time while allowing them to keep autonomy over in regard to required pre-requisites, admissions decisions, and submission deadlines.
DHCAS will also feature a search engine, which increases national exposure to prospective applicants. Schools that participate have access to time-saving features such as complex reporting, integrated communication, and management of the whole applicant pool. Applicants will now receive responses to their inquiries within 24-48 hours through an ADEA vendor. If you are interested in learning more about DHCAS, please contact Tami Grzesikowski at GrzesikowskiT@adea.org.
