The U.S. Department of Education has proposed measures for determining whether certain postsecondary educational programs prepare students for gainful employment in a recognized occupation, as well as the conditions under which these programs remain eligible to receive funds under federal student aid programs.

On April 9, the Senate Subcommittee on Primary Care and Aging under the Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) discussed “Addressing Primary Care Access and Workforce Challenges: Voices from the Field.”

The ADEA Advocacy and Government Relations portfolio recently attended the Academy Health National Health Policy Conference February 3–4 in Washington, D.C. The conference is designed to bring together health policy leaders from around the country to discuss critical health care issues.
