The Interprofessional Education Collaborative (IPEC) is pleased to announce the next Interprofessional Faculty Development Institute, Interprofessional Education: Advancing & Sustaining Your Program for Collaborative Practice, taking place Oct. 18–20, 2017, in Long Beach, CA.
The overall goal of the IPEC Institute is to provide participants the opportunity to acquire and utilize knowledge and skills to further
advance their existing institutional interprofessional education (IPE) and collaborative practice program. Postbaccalaureate health professions faculty, their IPE colleagues and their collaborative practice partners will have both quality time and dedicated space for guided learning, team-based planning activities and consultation with experts and peers in order to emerge with an advanced programmatic action plan to augment their current IPE and IPC initiatives in program and outcomes evaluation and assessment.
Faculty across the health disciplines and their community health partners who have previously attended an IPEC institute and/or who have home programs that could benefit from focused and in-depth levels of engagement on IPE assessment topics are invited.
Registration is now open and will be on a first come, first serve basis until the maximum number of registrants for the institute is reached. Team leaders should be identified and register all members at one time. Early bird registration expires Aug. 15. Register at ipecollaborative.org.
