The ADEA/AAL Chairs and Academic Administrators Management Program (ADEA/AAL CAAMP) offers three days of leadership development and career guidance for current and future chairs, department heads, assistant and associate deans, and other academic managers. This year’s ADEA/AAL CAAMP will take place on July 17-19 in Atlanta.
CAAMP alumni describe the experience as “transformational,” “masterfully planned and effectively delivered,” and “the best thing I’ve ever done for myself professionally and personally.”
During the three-day workshop, participants will learn the tools for effective academic management, team performance, interprofessional education, and interpersonal relations. Participants also will receive personal development through assessment tools, including 360-degree leadership feedback and conflict management styles, and one-on-one career coaching with a CAAMP instructor. Details are on the ADEA/AAL CAAMP website.
Tuition is $1,995, with a 10% discount for groups of three or more faculty from the same institution and for alumni of any AAL programs.
Registration closes July 3. For questions and to arrange discounts, contact AAL Vice President George Weinstein at firstname.lastname@example.org or 404-350-2098.
