Last Call — Consider an ADEA Leadership Opportunity

(Announcements, Leadership, ADEA Events and Activities) Permanent link   All Posts

Your membership in ADEA enables you to apply for an appointment on an ADEA committee, commission or task force. ADEA also makes appointments to external organizations, and you may apply for an appointment at one of these organizations as well.

There are opportunities for deans, program directors, faculty and students. A few noted ADEA task forces include the ADEA Minority Affairs Advisory Committee, the ADEA Journal of Dental Education Editorial Review Board, and the ADEA Policy and Research Advisory Committee. Some of the external organizations include the American Dental Association and the Commission on Dental Accreditation.

These appointments offer significant opportunities for leadership development, recognizing outstanding service and giving back to the profession, and for understanding and developing policy from a national and sometimes international perspective. To apply, you must be a current individual ADEA member. In some cases, membership in the American Dental Association is also required.

Apply online today or by July 7. For more information, contact Abigail Gorman at 202-289-7201 or gormana@adea.org.
