ADEA and AAL present the ADEA/AAL Chairs and Academic Administrators Management Program (ADEA/AAL CAAMP) 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. July 17–19 in Atlanta, GA. This interprofessional program offers three days of leadership development and career guidance for new, current, and future chairs, department heads, assistant and associate deans, and other academic managers. CAAMP Alumni describe the experience as “transformational” and “the best thing I’ve ever done for myself professionally and personally.”
During CAAMP, administrative leaders from across the health professions learn the tools for effective academic management, team performance and interpersonal relations. They also experience personal development through assessment tools, including 360-degree leadership feedback and conflict management styles, and one-on-one coaching with a CAAMP instructor. Details are available on the AAL website.
Group discounts are available for three or more faculty and for alumni of any AAL program: contact AAL Vice President George Weinstein for details at firstname.lastname@example.org or 404-350-2098.
