ADEA and AAL will present the ADEA/AAL Chairs and Academic Administrators Management Program (CAAMP), July 17–19 in Atlanta, GA. ADEA/AAL CAAMP is an interprofessional program that offers three days of leadership development and career guidance for new, current and future chairs, department heads, assistant and associate deans, and other academic managers. CAAMP Alumni describe the experience as “transformational” and “the best thing I’ve ever done for myself professionally and personally.”
Administrative leaders from across the health professions learn the tools for effective academic management, team performance, and interpersonal relations. A CAAMP instructor also helps leaders achieve personal development through assessment tools and one-on-one coaching.
