The ADEA/AAL Institute for Teaching and Learning (ADEA/AAL ITL) is widely known as dental education’s most comprehensive teacher training program. Nearly 400 dental and dental hygiene faculty, along with private practitioners transitioning to academic careers, have participated in the ADEA/AAL ITL since 2006.
Participants learn the skills of a master teacher, earn 50 hours of continuing education credit across two phases and receive a certificate of completion from ADEA and AAL. ADEA/AAL ITL alumni are eligible to earn a Master’s Degree in Dental Education, awarded by the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry.
The 2014 ADEA/AAL ITL takes place at the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center in Atlanta, GA. Phase I will occur on August 14–16 and Phase II on October 16–18. Discounts start at 10% off the $4,950 tuition for institutions that send two or more faculty to the program. Payment plans and scholarships are available.
