Ohio State Dental Hygiene Professor Co-authors a Textbook
Rachel Henry, RDH, M.S., an Assistant Professor in the Division of Dental Hygiene at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, has co-authored a dental hygiene textbook titled Dental Hygiene: Application to Clinical Practice.
Written in collaboration with Maria Goldie, RDH, M.S., the book will serve as a comprehensive entry-level dental hygiene textbook and a resource for dental hygiene educators and graduates. Published by the F.A. Davis Company, it will be available in the autumn of 2014.
2014 National Health Service Corps Loan Repayment Program Application Cycle Opening Soon
The fiscal year 2014 National Health Service Corps Loan Repayment Program application cycle will open soon.
This program is open to licensed primary care medical, dental and mental and behavioral health providers who are employed or seeking employment at approved sites. In addition, applicants should be interested in working with underserved communities in high need areas throughout the United States and its territories. The program is expected to be competitive and applicants are encouraged to begin the application process early. On average it takes a few weeks to complete an application. Applicants are encouraged to start gathering the required application documentation currently noted on the NHSC’s Programs website.
