In cooperation with the Congressional Children's Health Care Caucus, ADEA hosted a briefing to educate Members of Congress about how the state of Maryland and two dental schools have created innovative programs to bring dental care to underserved children.

The briefing took place February 25, 2010, in the Longworth House Office Building. The speakers were Dr. Frank A. Catalanotto, Chair of the Department of Community Dentistry and Behavioral Science at the University of Florida College of Dentistry; Dr. Caswell A. Evans, Associate Dean for Prevention and Public Health Sciences at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry; and Dr. Harry Goodman, Director of the Office of Oral Health at the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.
