Whether your institution is already engaged in interprofessional exercises or looking for that first step to bring interprofessional education (IPE) to your institution, fully understanding IPE in the context of national changes to health care delivery models is essential to your institution’s success.
Don’t miss Bringing IPE Home, taking place December 5–6 at the Marriott Raleigh City Center in Raleigh, NC. In this two-day regional workshop, faculty will learn why interprofessional education is an immediate necessity in the health care profession. Participants will gain first-hand experience in small group exercises that can be utilized at their home institutions to educate their students about the core domains of IPE.
Experts in the field will discuss how they initiated IPE programs and how they have designed these programs to comply with the new accreditation standards related to interprofessional education and practice.
Registration closes Wednesday, November 13. Additional ADEA Regional Faculty Development Workshops will be held in spring 2014 and summer 2014. Visit www.adea.org/IPEworkshop2013 for more information and to register.
