Mercy Medical Center, General Practice Dental Residency Program Director

The Mercy Medical Center, Dental Services/Dental GPR, is seeking a Residency Program Director to assume overall accountability for the advanced training program in a general dental practice residency. Responsibilities will involve directing and managing the program according to CODA standards, providing clinical care in the outpatient office and operating room settings, and providing significant supervision of the residents. 


  • D.D.S. or D.M.D. 
  • Graduation from an accredited dental school in the United States or Canada 
  • Licensed or able to obtain licensure in Ohio 
  • Program directors appointed after January 1, 2000, who have not previously served as program directors, must have completed an accredited General Practice Residency program or Advanced Education in General Dentistry program. 
  • Significant experience in academics 
  • Significant experience in a hospital setting 
  • Competency in clinical care, teaching and research activities 
  • Strong communication and writing skills 
  • Excellent interpersonal management and organizational skills 
  • Possess a high level of motivation 
  • Demonstrate a high level of scholarly activity 

 Salary is commensurate with experience and will be discussed with you at the time of interview.

University of Florida College of Dentistry, TEAM Leader, Position #00011243

The University of Florida College of Dentistry is seeking applications for a full-time clinical track position at the Assistant/Associate/Full Professor level to serve in the Division of Predoctoral General Dentistry, Department of Restorative Dental Sciences. This position requires a D.D.S., D.M.D., or foreign equivalent degree and a minimum of five years’ experience as a general dentist; private practice experience is preferred. Some teaching experience is beneficial. Applicants must be able to supervise students in all clinical disciplines including periodontology, operative, fixed and removable prosthodontics, cad cam dentistry, basic surgical procedures, and participate in faculty practice.  As well as being a strong clinician, applicant must be organized, open minded, dedicated to teaching, practical, and possess good communication skills.

University of Illinois at Chicago, Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor, Restorative Dentistry-Advanced Operative/General Dentistry 

The Department of Restorative Dentistry at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry under the leadership of Stephen Campbell, D.D.S., M.M.Sc., is seeking applications for two full-time faculty positions (non-tenure track) beginning July 1, 2013, at the Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor levels. Future tenure track options exist for qualified and successful candidates. Responsibilities include preclinical and clinical instruction in all aspects of the restorative sciences. Qualifications include a D.D.S. or D.M.D. degree, and advanced training in operative dentistry or general dentistry (board eligibility or certification desirable where appropriate, but not required). Prior teaching experience is desirable. Candidates must be eligible for licensure in Illinois. Candidates with training and/or experience in research are preferred.
