Tenure-Track Assistant/Associate Professor in Biomedical Sciences Department of Biomedical and Diagnostic Sciences The University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry (UDMSD) invites applications for full-time faculty, tenure-track position at the Assistant/Associate Professor level in Department of Biomedical and Diagnostic Sciences. Responsibilities include didactic instruction in immunology, microbiology, and infectious diseases to dental and dental hygiene students and to dental graduate residents, participation in independent or collaborative research and service to the University and profession. Candidates should have demonstrated experience with a wide range of educational methodologies and instructional technology. Candidates will work collaboratively with other biomedical and clinical faculty to provide integrated content and conduct regular assessment of student learning as part of an instructional team.

UDMSD seeks diverse applicants with a passion for excellence. Qualifications include a Ph.D., D.D.S./D.M.D., D.O., or M.D. with formal training in microbiology/immunology. Experience within a medical, dental or other health sciences program is preferred. Salary and rank commensurate with qualifications and experience. Oklahoma: Prosthetic Dentistry
Full-time Assistant/Associate Professor positions available July 1, 2012.  Responsibilities in undergraduate preclinical and clinical courses in fixed, removable and implant dentistry. Must have DDS/DMD from ADA accredited dental school or foreign equivalent and successful completion of Part I and Part II of National Dental Board Examination.  Master’s degree or certificate in Prosthodontics from ADA accredited dental school preferred. Experience in dental education preferable and eligibility for Oklahoma dental licensure required. Intramural practice is available.  Salary and rank commensurate with qualifications and experience. Harvard School of Dental Medicine: Program Director for the Advanced Graduate Program in Orthodontics
The Harvard School of Dental Medicine is seeking applications for a full-time position as Program Director for the Advanced Graduate Program in Orthodontics. Responsibilities include: recruitment and admission of highly qualified candidates for the Certificate and linked MMSc and DMSc degree programs; oversight, management and teaching in the didactic and clinical education programs; and participation and direction of scholarly activities for residents. University of Nevada, Las Vegas: Assistant/Associate/Full Professor-In-Residence of Clinical Sciences, Pediatric Dentistry

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine invites applications for a full-time, 12-month, non-tenure faculty position as Associate/Assistant/Professor-In-Residence of Clinical Sciences-Pediatric Dentistry, available July 2012. Responsibilities include clinical supervision of pre-doctoral students and pediatric dental residents, teaching via lectures and seminars, mentoring research projects, oversight of community outreach activities, coverage of after-hour calls, and evaluating and reporting student and resident’s performance.

D.M.D. or D.D.S. degree from a dental college or university required. Eligibility or Board Certification in Pediatric Dentistry. Must be eligible for licensure in Nevada. Candidates must have completed A.D.A. accredited pediatric dental specialty training, and have expertise and experience in all areas of pediatric dentistry including hospital care.
