Though signs of economic recovery are slowing emerging in some sectors, academic dental institutions across the United States and Canada are still dealing with the repercussions of the financial meltdown. Some institutions have seen slight improvements in endowments and investments, but this number is dwarfed by the institutions affected by cuts to funding.

Community Outreach Sees Success at Dugoni School of Dentistry

The University of Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry continues to reach out to the San Francisco community. This past May saw two successful events: the Student Community Outreach for Public Education's (SCOPE) Senior Smiles Health Fair, and the Kids in the Klinic Endowment Vino de Mayo wine auction and dinner.
