Technology Gives University of Michigan Students 'Front Row Seats

A new era in dental education is about to begin at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Because of a generous $2 million dollar commitment from an alumnus who earned his degree in 1932, students will soon be using the latest technology that will, in effect, bring clinical dental education directly to their desktops.

FDA Approves First Oral Fluid-Based Rapid HIV Test Kit

The FDA has approved the use of oral fluid samples with a rapid HIV diagnostic test kit that provides screening results with over 99 percent accuracy in as little as 20 minutes. Until now, all rapid HIV tests required the use of blood in order to get such rapid results.
