New Instrument to Assess EBD Training: Mr. Hendricson et al. report on the validation of an assessment instrument designed to measure the outcomes of training in evidence-based dentistry (EBD), based on the responses of second-year dental students, residents, and dental faculty members. This instrument goes beyond the usual limited focus in EBD assessment on comprehension of concepts to assess the effects of training in four areas: knowledge, attitudes, information accessing, and confidence.
